This year’s Info Day organized at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka will focus on the intersection of digital transition and sustainable urban development, with a particular emphasis on regenerative approaches to urban systems.

The event will open with a keynote lecture by Prof. Dragan Čišić, titled "Regenerative Digital Transition: Challenge or Opportunity?" This session will explore how digital transformation can evolve beyond optimisation tools to actively restore natural systems, empower communities, and support long-term economic resilience.

A panel discussion will follow on "The Role of Digital Transformation in Sustainable Urban Development" , bringing together experts from the fields of digitalisation, urban planning, and public policy to discuss practical strategies for integrating regenerative principles into smart city agendas.

The Info Day is open to a wide range of stakeholders — from researchers and policymakers to civil society, business actors, and students.
